Larry Huggins, principal of Riteway-Huggins Construction Inc. and co-founder of Chicago Football Classic Scholarship Fund, was recently featured on NBC 5’s Community Leader Spotlight for his year-round contributions to Chicago communities.
“As business leaders, once we have reached a certain level of success, every day of our lives we should try to make a difference. And how we make a difference is by giving back … by encouraging others to help in that regard,” says Larry. He goes on to say that when corporate America and corporate Chicago heed the obligation to make a positive impact in people’s lives, their efforts help make Chicago a better city and a safer city.
Riteway-Huggins and Tribco have partnered on projects for more than 30 years. Together, we’ve built many iconic buildings throughout Chicagoland including 320 North Sangamon, Unicom Thermal Technologies, Oakwood Shores and University of Chicago Medicine Parking Garage. Our next project is Northwestern Medicine’s newest outpatient care facility in Irving Park with Power Construction.
Larry is passionate about building up Chicago not only through his construction business, but also through civil and philanthropist initiatives. For instance, he founded the Christmas in the Wards foundation 25 years ago to uplift the lives of families and students in underserved communities during the holidays and beyond. Thank you for making a difference, Larry!
