Tribco celebrates New Construction Professionals Week

At Tribco, our employees are at the core of our continued success. In turn, we are committed to equipping our personnel with the training and resources needed to further their professional journeys. Out of that commitment has risen New Construction Professionals Week.

Every August, Tribco’s newly hired and newly promoted construction professional employees are eligible to travel to Kansas City to learn and connect with subject matter experts from across the Construction Solutions Group (CSG). Tribco Vice President and General Manager Derek Patton was among this year’s group of subject matter experts leading informative presentations. The week also included skill-building competitions, group dinners and fun outings designed to facilitate networking and growth exchanges. These group activities help employees build connections within CSG.

New Construction Professionals Week is an annual company event organized by CSG, a grouping of unique construction businesses—including Tribco and our parent company Ceco Concrete—under the umbrella of The Heico Companies. Hosted at CSG headquarters, all new construction professionals are expected to attend.

At this year’s event, several teams competed to be the first to assemble a panelized Peri wallform as they overcame purposeful challenges. Participants learned the importance of planning, assembly drawings, material preparation and teamwork to maximize field productivity. They were exposed to real-world field conditions, performing the work outdoors in hot, muggy Kansas City weather. In all, the competition was a great micro example of the typical challenges faced on jobsites every day.

We are grateful to Peri Formwork Systems for providing equipment and personnel to help make the event a success.
